Definitions: In these Terms of Use, "you" and "your" refer to all users of this website, while "Style Studio AU", "we," "us," and "our" refer to Style Studio AU (ABN 44770203945). All references to users also include customers of www.stylestudioau.com. Legal Agreement: These Terms of Use are a legally binding agreement between you and Style Studio AU. They apply to all users and customers of Style Studio AU and are published on the website. By accessing or using this website, you agree to accept these Terms of Use. Revised terms of use will supersede any previous versions, and you will be deemed to have accepted them by accessing or using the website. Additionally, certain areas, sections, or offerings on the website may have their own guidelines, which must also be followed in conjunction with these Terms of Use.
Hire Agreement
This agreement outlines all the terms and conditions for hiring products from Style Studio AU via the website www.stylestudioau.com. By clicking "I accept" hire agreement button, you agree to rent products subject to all our website terms and conditions of use and privacy policy. Style Studio AU owns the rented products at all times.
Payment Terms
You authorize Style Studio AU to charge your payment method for your hire fee and delivery fees plus any additional charges listed on the website. Additionally, you authorize us to charge your payment method up to 200% of the entire original retail value of the product if you do not fulfil your commitment as set forth in the hire agreement. Payment is due within seven days of the date of the invoice. We reserve the right to request photo ID, credit card details, or other identification, and we may refuse to hire products if you cannot provide the requested information. If you fail to provide the requested information on time, a credit note will be issued, and no refunds will be given.
Sizing Issues/Faulty Garment:
If a product does not fit you or is not right for any reason, contact us, and return it within 24 hours of delivery, and we will issue a credit note once the dress is returned to us in its original condition. The term "unworn" is determined by Style Studio AU (SECURITY TAG MUST STILL BE ATTACHED) and must be fulfilled before a credit is issued. You must inspect the dress, notify us, and send photos of any damage within four hours of delivery. Responsibility for the damage transfers to you if we are not notified within this time period or sent photo evidence of the damage.
Security Bonds
Security Bond and Insurance - Terms and Conditions

To ensure the preservation of our dress collection and provide a worry-free experience, we require a security bond for each dress rental. The security bond acts as a refundable deposit and covers any significant damage, loss, or alterations beyond normal wear and tear.

Upon booking a dress, a security bond will be charged to your card. The amount will be clearly communicated and is subject to our discretion based on the dress's value.

The security bond will be refunded promptly upon the dress's return in its original condition and on time, provided there are no damages or breaches of our terms and conditions.

Minor repairs, such as small tears or missing buttons, are covered by our $10 insurance. This insurance ensures that if any minor repairs are needed, they will be taken care of without any additional cost to you.

In the event of significant damage, loss, or alterations beyond normal wear and tear, the security bond will be used to cover the necessary repairs, replacement, or associated costs. If the security bond is insufficient to cover these expenses, you will be responsible for the remaining amount.

Please note that the security bond and insurance are necessary measures to protect the quality and integrity of our dress collection. By proceeding with a rental, you agree to adhere to our terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to update or modify our security bond and insurance terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to review and understand the most recent version before proceeding with a dress rental.
Shipping Details
All parcels are sent via Australia Post and require a signature on delivery. If you are not able to sign, your parcel will be taken to the Post Office for collection. Your hire period starts from the time the courier attempted the first delivery, and credits will not be issued for late delivery where you have not been available to accept delivery. Once the item is signed for, responsibility and liability transfer to you. We do not take responsibility for orders where an incorrect or ineligible address has been provided. If you have provided an incorrect address, you will not be entitled to a refund or credit of any kind, and you may be liable for any late fees or a replacement fee if the dress is not returned to us. If you have supplied an address that has a redirection. Our goal is to minimize any potential postal delays by delivering your hires as soon as possible.
Please note that your delivery could arrive up to fifteen (15) days earlier than your selected delivery date. To ensure successful delivery, please provide a permanent address where the parcel can be left in a secure location or accepted by someone up to 15 days before your chosen delivery date.
Any last minute hires (orders placed less than 36 hours before being despatched) that do not arrive in time will be entitled to a credit note only and not a refund.
Orders placed after 2pm AEST will be shipped the following business day. No refunds will be given for orders placed after this time that do not get delivered by the following business day.
NOTE: A minimum 2 days before you event must be selected if your hire needs to be shipped. We offer last minute pick ups from us in Randwick NSW or Uber Parcel in Sydney.
Cleaning: We provide professional cleaning for all our garments, and we kindly request that you refrain from attempting to clean, alter, or iron/press them, unless you have made prior arrangements with us. While we steam all garments before sending them out, certain fabrics are prone to wrinkles and may become creased in transit. If your dress arrives with slight creases, you can try steaming it on low heat or hang it in a steamy bathroom to de-crease it. Damaged/Soiled/Replacement Garment: You agree to treat our products like you would your own. You will treat the garment with the utmost of care.
Style Studio offers an add on $10 damage insurance as an add on which you must purchase at time of selecting your hire outfit.
If a garment is returned damaged, seamstress & dry-cleaning fees can cost anywhere between $15 - $100. These costs can be passed onto the client in full, in accordance with our terms and conditions.
Our Insurance option covers you for common and accidental damage that may occur during your hire period. Damage covered includes:
- Broken Zips
- Minor Material Splits
- Small Holes
- Broken Straps
- Loose/ Lost Buttons, Jewels
- Removable Stains
To select insurance coverage against minor and accidental damage select ' yes ' to the Insurance option on the product's personal listing.
Please note carefully:
Insurance does not cover damages that ruin a garment, leaving it unable to be re-hired. If a garment is beyond repair, the full recommended retail price will be charged in accordance with our terms and conditions.
Insurance is only available at the time of booking a garment and cannot be added after collection / dispatch of the garment.
If Insurance is not purchased and the garment is returned damaged; you can be held liable for all repair costs incurred by Style Studio dress hire including:
- Mending Fees
- Dry Cleaning Stains
- Missed Hire Bookings due to damage / repair delays
At Style Studio we know that accidents happen and we want you to be relaxed and enjoy your event without unnecessary worry about minor or unexpected damage to your garment.
Should damage occur, contact Style Studio as soon as possible. Take photos of the damage, include a brief description, and advise whether you have purchased insurance cover for your hire.
The garment must still be returned in accordance with your hire terms. Once the garment has been returned we will assess the damage, apply for insurance if applicable and should the garment be beyond repair, calculate any further charges as per our terms and conditions.
All decisions as to whether a garment is capable of repair and re-hire will be undertaken in consultation with a seamstress / dry-cleaner as necessary and the decision of Style Studio Dress Hire is final and binding on the client.
If the garment gets lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, whether or not such loss, theft, or damage is attributable to any negligence, failure, or omission of the User then the User will be liable to pay for replacement of the item.
Style Studio AU advises the User to be extremely cautious if using fake tanning products or perfume. In the event that fake tan stains a garment or perfume damages the fabric and prevents it from being rehired, Style Studio AU reserves the right to charge the User the replacement value of the item(s) subject to Style Studio’s assessment of replaceable value.
Cancellations/Refunds: If you need to cancel your hire at least 2 weeks prior to your booking date you will be issued with a credit note minus our $25 cancellation fee that is valid for 12 months from cancellation date.
Example your hire is $220 we will issue a credit note for $195.
If you need to cancel your hire less then 2 weeks from booking date you will not be eligible for a credit note or refund.
